Intensive English Program

Aloha-! It’s Hikari!;)

Big Island has huge amount of rain in a year. Because of that, Hilo also has a lot of nature.
Unlike Oahu Island, Hilo has few places to hangout with your friends..
But! You have much time to hangout with Hilo’s nature instead of spending time to go shopping!!
Today, I’d like to introduce Hilo’s wonderful places;)

Here is Mauna Kea. Mauna Kea is higher than Mt. Fuji! It used to be volcano, but now it is taking a nap for long time.

Remarkably, It snows on Mauna Kea in winter!!:0
Watching stars, sunset, and snow from Mauna Kea, it make you feel heartful.

The next place is Kilauea Volcano!
It is active volcano. I guess it is rare to watch lava for you guys.

And if you go Kalapana, you can see lava flow! That is awesome;)

These beautiful pictures are taken by Hawaii Forest&Trail, The Atlantic, Hawai’i Picture of the Day, and Flickr.

Okay! Spring II session has begun today! Please nice to meet you, new IEP students!!:)
