Aloha! This is Kano:)

Summer vacation is coming to the end. How are you guys doing?

Recently, it’s hot. Don’t you want to eat something cold and sweet? I usually eat ice cream when it’s hot out.

So I’m going to introduce my favorite icy sweets in Hilo.

This is Big Island Shave Ice Company,

There are so many different flavors and toppings you can choose from. There is a very popular topping in Hawaii called Lihing mui powder. Also, there are many set menus such as halohalo.

Halohalo has Ube ice cream (purple sweet potato flavor), tapioca balls, sweet red bean paste etc…

This is Strawberry Sundae!! It was delicious definitely.

Can you believe this is the smallest size? Isn’t this too big??

This store is a food truck visits many locations on this island. They are not in Hilo everyday, so you should enjoy when you can.

I got this information from their home page. Here is the schedule!

Monday & Tuesday – Church Road, Kamuela, Hawaii (11:30am-5:30pm)

Wednesday – King’s Shop Parking Lot, Waikoloa, Hawaii (Next to Roy’s Restaurant) (11:00am-5:00pm)

Thursday, Friday, & Saturday – Kai Store, Hilo, Hawaii (11:30am-5:30pm)

They are open in Hilo at Kai Store only on Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays.

Also, this is my other favorite place; it is called Sweet Cane Cafe. I really like their Acai bowl.

Their Acai bowl is sweet but not too sweet. Also crunchy granola in this bowl is so delicious. This is the smallest size. It is huge again haha. Also, you can enjoy delicious smoothies and light meals.

The interior of this cafe is cute! I like to relax in here. Here is the information of Sweet Cane Cafe.
