Level System

On arrival, you will be placed according to your level check results. The IEP has up to 4 levels. You can expect to spend from one to two sessions in each level (4 to 8 weeks). Moving from one level to the next depends on your performance in class, grades, test scores and attendance.

Throughout the session, you will get advice and encouragement from your teachers on how to progress and improve your English. At the end of the session, you meet with your teachers one-on-one for a personalized assessment of your English ability and will receive a written report.

Orientation

The first day of the orientation, students take a level check.
 • Michigan test—60 minutes (listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar)
