Aloha!

Today let me introduce Lili’uokalani Gardens. There is my most favorite place in Hilo because it makes me feel comfortable. If you go to the garden, I’m sure you will also spend a peaceful time there.
In 1907, Queen Liliuokalani, Hawaii’s last reigning monarch, donated five acres bordering Hilo Bay that is named in honor of the Queen. The garden is located next to Coconut Island.

You can walk around a beatiful Edo-style Japanese garden. The features of the garden are arching bridges over fishponds, rock gardens, Japanese stone lanterns, and a teahouse.
So you can also enjoy taking pictures.
I like reading a book in the garden, but I have to watch out for the weather. Every day Hilo’s weather is different, so if you want to go there you might want to bring
an umbrella. I’m sure you will like it there.
