IEP has various fun events, so students can meet and communicate with a lot of people. The trip to the volcano was the most wonderful event for me.
The Big Island has an active volcano that is called Kilauea Volcano, so I can see many volcanic craters.
I have never seen a real volcano before I came to Hawaii, so I was very impressed when I saw the lava. This trip also goes to some craters that are not active, but amazing because they are very large. Moreover, I could see some rare Hawaiian plants such as the Ohia Lehua that is usually impossible to find easily.
If you go to visit the volcano, maybe you can meet some IEP students and talk to them? IEP’s classes are separated into levels, but you can communicate with any student if you don’t mind us practicing our English! IEP has people from many different countries, so please share your own culture with us while on your volcano trip.
