Aloha! This is Kano 🙂
Today was the last day of 3-day orientation. We had a campus tour at the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
Student made their picture IDs,
bought their textbooks,
then went to the Learning Center (where students meet their tutor weekly), Health Services, Mail services Center and UH Student Life Center (sports gym)！
The last spot was the library. We had a tour with a librarian. Students chose carefully their reading books that they will need to read weekly.
During the summer, the fee at the UH Life Center is cheaper than regular semesters. It’s $35 and you can use up till mid-August. If you have the membership, you can use not only their pool but also join classes such as yoga and Zumba. If you like to exercise, it will be a great place to go after the class and weekends.
The first day of class is next Tuesday. We hope all the new students to get used to this new life and enjoy daily school life!
A hui hou;)
