Aloha!

Here is another short blog written by a level 4 student. Mauna Kea is one of the most popular sightseeing spots on the Big Island.

I went to Mauna Kea to see the sunrise. Mauna Kea is famous for stargazing, but it is also famous for sunrise and sunset as well.

Many people think the highest mountain in the world is Mt. Everest. It is not true.

Mauna Kea is taller than Mt. Everest. Most of the mountain is under the water, so you are not able to see how tall it is.

If you visit Mauna kea, bring some warm clothes, blankets, and proper shoes. It is so cold out there.

As long as you take proper vehicles, you can drive up all the way to the top of the Mauna Kea. Isn’t that nice?
